“How do you convert ounces to milligrams?”
I get conversion questions like this all the time. There are charts, calculators and formulas all over the internet, but the easier way is…
1. Go to Google.com.
2. Type in “convert X ounces to mg”.
3. Read the answer. It will convert it for you.
(Of course, the real answer I should give you is to multiply the ounces time 28.35. But who wants to do all that work?!)
Science Project Data
Easy to Observe, Easy to Record Science Projects
Observing and recording what takes place in the world around us is the beginning of scientific study. If you think about it, science is everywhere. From baking cookies to squirting your hands with anti-bacterial gel to comparing your favorite kinds of music, almost anything can become a science fair project. The problem is that many project ideas are not that easy to set up or record.
Experiments, timers, comparisons, pie charts, graphs…for most of us, knowing where to start or how to use the collected information is like piloting an airplane. We can grasp the basic concept, but the lack of specific knowledge still causes the whole thing to crash and burn.
Thankfully there are easy to observe and easy to record science projects available that include all of the graphs and charts you need! Simply complete the experiments, fill in the data, and you are finished! All you have to do is sit back and watch as your child learns to observe the world around them.
